Aesthetic Trends: The Best Cosmetic Treatments for 2016

Earlier this month I was fortunate enough to attend the Aesthetic Extender Symposium in Aventura, Florida where I heard amazing lectures and saw live demonstrations on the latest aesthetic trends and best cosmetic treatments for 2016. With the holidays approaching I wanted to share with you a few of my favorite esthetic treatments that have people interested all over the country from New York to Florida!

Cosmetic Treatment for Contoured Cheek

Check! Non-surgical cheek augmentation is a popular trend recently. Patients are looking for more defined cheeks. We can achieve this with fillers such as Juvederm Ultra XC, Restylane Lift or Voluma. The treatment has minimal downtime and will give you beautiful countoured cheeks that will make your face look perfect this holiday season!

Cosmetic Treatments to Fix Dark Circle

Tired of dark circles? Concealer just not cutting it? As we get older we lose fat in our faces, causing volume loss. This is common especially by our orbital rim (under eyes) causing hollowness. Our eyelids are also thin, which causes the appearance of “dark circles.” Fillers such as Restylane are now being used in our tear troughs to correct this issue.

Cosmetic Treatment for Luscious Lip

Full lips have been ALL over the media the past few months , and this trend is not going anywhere! Aesthetic medicine is always changing with new techniques or treatments, but prevention and maintenance will always be key! Neurotoxin treatments such as Botox, Dysport or Xeomin are still the mainstay treatment options for those frown lines. Recently, I am seeing patients in their mid to late twenties who are having neurotoxin treatments as “wrinkle-free prevention.” Whether you’re in your twenties or your sixties, the take home point here is to make sure you are either preventing or maintaining wrinkles with neurotoxin treatment every three to four months.

Lastly, I must share with you my favorite anti-aging skin products. These products are essential to not only hydrate our skin, but to help with the anti-aging process.
