About Michelle Quinn, NP
Michelle is a certified nurse practitioner at Schweiger Dermatology Group.
She has more than two decades of clinical experience and a patient-centered approach rooted in education, mentorship and community care. Michelle provides comprehensive dermatologic care and specializes in both medical and surgical dermatology. Her passion for patient advocacy and education is also reflected in her longstanding work as a mentor and preceptor for graduate nursing students.
Michelle earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of San Francisco and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of California, San Francisco.
She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is a founding nurse practitioner at the UCSF/Mt. Zion Prepare Clinic and continues to serve as an active Medical Staff Member at UCSF. She is also an educator in the UCSF Community Health Systems Department.
Before joining Schweiger Dermatology Group, Michelle practiced dermatology at San Jose Medical Group, where she was the sole dermatology provider for nearly a year. Prior to that, she was one of two nurse practitioners selected for an intensive 12-month dermatology mentorship and training program at The Permanente Medical Group. She also worked in allergy and immunology at TPMG South San Francisco and held clinical roles in Massachusetts General Hospital’s internal medicine and community health clinics. Earlier in her career, Michelle spent more than 20 years in critical care, intensive care and perioperative settings at leading medical institutions in California and Massachusetts.
In addition to her clinical roles, Michelle has been committed to community education and international medical volunteer work, traveling extensively to provide care and education in underserved areas around the world.
