Dr. Desciak received extensive training in dermatologic surgery under Yehuda D. Eliezri, M.D., and in the Department of Dermatology at Columbia University. He completed his medical degree and dermatology residency at Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. Dr. Desciak is a fellow of the American Board of Dermatology and has completed a fellowship in dermatologic surgery approved by the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery.

He has presented at the national meetings of The American Academy of Dermatology, The American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology. He is a faculty member at New York Presbyterian Medical Center, Columbia University, where he participates in resident education.

Schweiger Dermatology Group was founded to help make excellent dermatology care accessible throughout the Northeast. In 2010, Dr. Eric Schweiger started the practice with a single location in Midtown Manhattan. When he saw the need for high-quality dermatology care that did not require weeks or months of waiting to see a qualified provider, his vision of a multi-location practice was born.
