About Marcelo Horenstein, MD
Dr. Horenstein received his medical degree from the National University of Cuyo in Mendoza, Argentina.
He completed his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Cornell University in New York, New York. Dr. Horenstein continued on to complete fellowships in oncologic pathology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, New York; and dermatopathology at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Dr. Horenstein was director of dermatopathology at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama; and pathology laboratory director at the Schweiger Dermatology Group in West Orange, New Jersey. Dr. Horenstein was in the board of directors of the American Society of Dermatopathology.
Dr. Horenstein has extensive experience in the field of pathology. He has conducted numerous dermatopathology research studies and has published over 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Horenstein is an editorial board member of the Journal of Cutaneous Pathology.
