Dan Ilkovitch, MD, PHD, FAAD

Dr. Ilkovitch completed his Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and molecular biology at the University of Maryland, and then attended medical school at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where he received both an MD and a PhD. He completed an internal medicine internship at Mount Sinai Medical Center, followed by a rigorous dermatology residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pennsylvania. Following his training he worked at the Cleveland Clinic providing top medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatological care.

He is a diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology, fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons and National Psoriasis Foundation. He has received his own research funding, published widely in the fields of dermatology and immunology, lectured at national conferences and received many awards and accolades. Dr. Ilkovitch also serves as a clinical affiliate assistant professor in Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University.

Outside of work, he enjoys snow skiing, kayaking, exercising and the beautiful weather of south Florida.
