A Philadelphia native, Dr. Parish is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson Medical College, where he also completed his residency in the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Biology. In addition to his board certification, he is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Dr. Parish holds a JD degree with high honors from the Law School of the University of Chicago and served for several years as a federal criminal prosecutor prior to his medical training. He has authored multiple publications in dermatology, as well as having written on the connection between law and medicine.
