Kristen’s interest in dermatology stems from her own experiences with acne, pregnancy-related skin changes and sun damage awareness. She provides personalized, patient-centered dermatologic care with a passion for helping individuals navigate every stage of their skin health journey. Kristen’s interest in dermatology stems from her own experiences with acne, pregnancy-related skin changes and sun damage awareness. She is committed to educating her patients and building treatment plans that support healthy, confident skin.

Kristen earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Saint Louis University and worked in critical care before completing her Master of Science in Nursing at Maryville University. During her nurse practitioner training, she completed dermatology rotations with Dr. Riordan, and now works alongside him again at Schweiger Dermatology Group.

She has completed Schweiger Dermatology Group’s Advanced Practice Provider Training Program, which includes academic lectures and hands-on clinical instruction to ensure the highest level of dermatologic care.

Outside of work, Kristen enjoys spending time with her husband, son, daughter and golden doodle. She still loves a good beach vacation—but now with SPF and a wide-brimmed hat.
