About Saira Zafar, MD
Dr. Zafar is a double board-certified and fellowship-trained allergist and immunologist.
She believes the key to delivering effective care is shared decision making and an open dialogue with her patients. She sees both adult and pediatric patients. Her clinical interests include food allergies, asthma and allergic skin conditions.
Dr. Zafar was trained at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and completed an internal medicine residency at New York Medical College. She attended Ross University School of Medicine. While in training, she authored numerous publications and was selected for both oral and poster presentations at the national meetings of the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, and American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology; she is member of both organizations.
