About Samantha Sherkin, DO
Dr. Samantha Sherkin is a board-eligible dermatologist currently completing fellowship training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery.
She has a strong interest in dermatologic surgery, skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, and comprehensive general dermatology. Dr. Sherkin is dedicated to providing personalized, evidence-based care with a focus on achieving the best possible outcomes for her patients.
Originally from Toronto, Canada, Dr. Sherkin earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Guelph, graduating with Dean’s List distinction. She went on to receive her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society in recognition of her compassion, professionalism, and commitment to patient-centered care.
Dr. Sherkin completed her preliminary training in Internal Medicine through Florida Atlantic University at Boca Regional Hospital and Bethesda Hospital East before pursuing dermatology residency training at Larkin Health System in South Miami. During residency, she was selected as Chief Resident in recognition of her leadership, clinical excellence, and dedication to education.
In clinical practice, Dr. Sherkin specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, dermatologic surgery, and general dermatology. She is committed to developing individualized treatment plans and providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients of all ages.
