Schweiger Dermatology Group Spreads Healthy Skin and Sun-Safety Message Throughout the Summer
We are excited to announce a summer-long campaign dedicated to promoting sun safety and healthy skin. Through strategic partnerships and community engagements, Schweiger Dermatology Group aims to educate and protect individuals from harmful UV rays, ensuring everyone can enjoy the summer sun responsibly.
Partnership with Hampton Jitney
Schweiger Dermatology Group is proud to partner with the Hampton Jitney, providing an essential service to travelers between New York City and the Hamptons. Throughout the summer, Schweiger Dermatology Group will distribute 1,000 tote bags filled with skincare essentials to riders. Each tote bag includes a full-sized Schweiger Dermatology Group SPF 30 sunscreen, helping New Yorkers spending time out east protect their skin from the sun’s harmful rays.
Free Sunscreen Stations in Long Beach, New York
In a continued effort to promote sun safety, Schweiger Dermatology Group is sponsoring free sunscreen stations in Long Beach, New York. Twenty sunscreen dispensers will be strategically placed at all boardwalk beach ramp entrances, from New York Ave. to Neptune Blvd. The dispensers will provide SPF 30, broad spectrum, water-resistant, paraben-free sunscreen to beachgoers throughout the summer. This initiative ensures that everyone has easy access to sunscreen, encouraging beach visitors to apply and reapply as needed for optimal protection.Collaboration with Philadelphia Phoenix Ultimate Frisbee Team
Additionally, Schweiger Dermatology Group is teaming up with the Philadelphia Phoenix Ultimate Frisbee team to spread the sun safety message to young athletes. As part of this partnership, sunscreen will be distributed to the team’s youngest fans participating in their summer camp. This initiative not only protects the kids during their outdoor activities but also instills the importance of sun safety from an early age.
“Given the importance of sun protection, we want to raise awareness about sun safety,” says Dr. Eric Schweiger, founder and CEO of Schweiger Dermatology Group. “By providing free sunscreen and educational resources, we hope to encourage everyone to take the necessary steps to protect their skin from UV damage, which is crucial in preventing skin cancer and maintaining overall skin health.”
By combining educational outreach with practical solutions, Schweiger Dermatology Group is dedicated to keeping communities safe under the sun.
