About Amy Smith, PA-C
Amy is a certified Physician Assistant with over 17 years of experience in the dermatology field.
She graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a minor in microbiology. She received her Masters of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Arcadia University.
Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant Amy worked in research to help develop a gene therapy treatment for prostate cancer. Amy is a Diplomate of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and a member of the Pennsylvania Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Amy sees patients of all ages with medical, surgical or cosmetic dermatology concerns. Her areas of interest include: full body skin examinations, skin cancer detection and treatment, eczema, psoriasis and acne. She enjoys performing and has extensive experience in cosmetic procedures including neurotoxin injections, dermal fillers and laser treatments.
