About Christopher Torres, MD
Dr. Christopher Torres is a board-certified dermatologist at Schweiger Dermatology Group specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
He provides comprehensive dermatologic care for patients of all ages and is committed to delivering individualized, evidence-based treatment with an emphasis on prevention, early detection, and patient education.
Born and raised in New York, Dr. Torres earned his Bachelor of Science degree from New York University before receiving his medical degree from NYU Grossman School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine internship at NYU Langone Health, followed by his dermatology residency in the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology at NYU Langone Health.
In clinical practice, Dr. Torres treats a broad range of dermatologic conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, hair and nail disorders, pigmentary disorders, and other conditions affecting the skin, hair, and nails. He performs comprehensive skin cancer screenings and is dedicated to helping patients achieve excellent medical and cosmetic outcomes through personalized treatment plans and preventive skin care.
Dr. Torres is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Skin of Color Society.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Torres enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing tennis, traveling, and exploring advances in technology and artificial intelligence.
