About Ashley Teta, PA-C
Ashley Teta, PA-C is a certified and licensed Physician Assistant at Schweiger Dermatology Group
Ashley received her Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in Studio Arts from Adelphi University and went on to complete her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Hofstra University. She then completed professional training as a certified and licensed Physician Assistant in medical, cosmetic and surgical dermatology, including first-assist in Mohs micrographic and reconstructive surgery for the treatment of various skin cancers. Ashley’s cosmetic experience includes utilization of a variety of laser devices, Botox, filler, and chemical peels.
Ashley’s other areas of experience include research, working as an advanced clinical provider for Pfizer-funded research studies investigating certain dermatologic conditions and their potential treatment options. Ashley’s professional experience further includes extensive training in Internal Medicine, as well as Critical Care, Neurology and Stroke experience while working at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn.
Ashley brings together her diversity of clinical experience and talent of artistry to provide excellent patient care in diagnosing and treating a variety of dermatologic conditions, as well as the ability to perform surgical and cosmetic procedures. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including NYSSPA and AAPA, and is a trained and active diplomate fellow through the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
