About Jean Buhac, MD
Dr. Buhac is a board-certified dermatologist at Schweiger Dermatology Group.
She provides personalized care in both medical and cosmetic dermatology and has been practicing for more than 20 years. Dr. Buhac sees patients of all ages and takes a hands-on, individualized approach to each visit. She is committed to making every patient feel welcomed, safe and confident in their care.
Dr. Buhac has extensive expertise in cosmetic dermatology, particularly injectable treatments and fillers. She is known for creating natural-looking results tailored to each patient’s goals.
Shortly after opening Saratoga Dermatology in 2000, she launched the Capital District’s first medical spa, where she personally trained and selected her team to uphold the highest standards in aesthetic care. Her approach bridges medical science with aesthetic precision.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in economics from Cornell University and went on to receive her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Buhac completed her internship and the first two years of her dermatology residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, followed by her final year at Massachusetts General Hospital. She began her dermatology career as a staff physician at Albany Medical Center before opening her private practice.
Dr. Buhac has trained with world-renowned dermatologists and published research on bullous diseases and the biology of anti-aging.
