About Jelena Vasić, MD
Dr. Jelena Vasić is a board-certified dermatologist at Spring Street Dermatology, a part of Schweiger Dermatology Group with expertise in medical and cosmetic dermatology.
She provides comprehensive, patient-centered care for patients of all ages, with a focus on personalized treatment and natural aesthetic results.
Originally from Niš, Serbia, Dr. Vasić moved to the United States with her family and was raised in Tucson, Arizona. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Mathematics, from the University of Arizona. She also spent time studying abroad in Paris and Lyon, France. She went on to receive her medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
Dr. Vasić completed her transitional internal medicine year at Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago before returning to the University of Arizona for her dermatology residency, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year.
Following her training, Dr. Vasić practiced dermatology in Montclair, New Jersey and midtown Manhattan before joining Spring Street Dermatology. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Women’s Dermatologic Society and has contributed to the field through publications in peer-reviewed journals.
In clinical practice, Dr. Vasić treats a wide range of dermatologic conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, alopecia, and skin cancer. She performs comprehensive skin cancer screenings and offers both medical and cosmetic treatments. Her approach to cosmetic dermatology emphasizes natural, balanced results tailored to each patient’s goals. She is dedicated to patient education and values open communication, ensuring each patient feels informed and confident in their care.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Vasić enjoys traveling, reading, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
