About Julia Arzeno, MD, FAAD, FACMS
Dr. Julia Arzeno is a double board-certified dermatologist and Mohs micrographic surgeon at Schweiger Dermatology Group.
Dr. Arzeno has performed over 3,500 Mohs surgeries and is highly experienced in treating both common and rare skin cancers. She has a special focus on complex reconstruction and is dedicated to delivering personalized care that balances aesthetic and functional outcomes. Her patient-centered approach reflects her commitment to precision and excellence in skin cancer treatment.
A Cupertino native, Dr. Arzeno graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Science in molecular, cell and developmental biology. She earned her medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, where she received the prestigious David Geffen Scholarship, a full merit-based award, and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. She completed her dermatology residency at UCLA, serving as chief resident, followed by a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery at UCLA, where she trained extensively in advanced reconstructive techniques and complex cases.
In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Arzeno has contributed to dermatologic research through NIH-funded programs at UCSF and Stanford. She has authored original research articles and book chapters and has presented her work at national conferences. She also volunteers at community dermatology clinics and is committed to medical education and service.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, horseback riding, baking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
