In 2025, Kari began a specialized Dermatology Fellowship through Schweiger Dermatology Group to further expand her expertise in medical and surgical dermatology.

Kari earned her bachelor’s degree from Niagara University, graduating with the highest honors. Thereafter she spent over four years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Sub-Saharan Africa and as an AmeriCorps Team Leader in the Western and Southeast regions of the United States. She went on to receive her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Medical University of South Carolina. After completing her education, she returned home to the Mohawk Valley, where she continues to serve her community.

Before transitioning to dermatology, Kari also held short-term roles across a variety of clinical settings, including urgent care, hospital-based care, home-based visits, and the New York State Department of Health. She has also been active in academic mentorship, precepting PA, NP, pharmacy, and MD students. In addition to clinical work, Kari has served on hospital IT and finance committees.

Kari was voted by her community as one of Mohawk Valley Living Magazine’s Top Docs (For Advanced Practice Providers) in 2025 and is widely recognized for her clinical excellence and dedication to patient care.
