Karina is a board-certified nurse practitioner at Schweiger Dermatology Group.

She has more than a decade of experience in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology, treating patients of all ages. Karina provides comprehensive care for a wide range of skin concerns including acne, psoriasis, eczema, pediatric dermatologic conditions and hair loss. She is also highly skilled in performing skin cancer screenings, biopsies, cryosurgery and excisions.

Karina earned her bachelor’s degree from Azusa Pacific University and her Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in family nursing, from the University of California, Los Angeles. Her training and experience span both general and cosmetic dermatology, including the use of advanced laser technology and aesthetic treatments.

In addition to medical dermatology, Karina offers a variety of cosmetic procedures including Botox, dermal fillers, Sculptra, chemical peels, sclerotherapy and laser treatments for veins and hair removal. She also performs photodynamic therapy (PDT) for acne and actinic keratoses.

Karina is known for her compassionate approach and strong clinical knowledge. She builds lasting relationships with her patients through her thoughtful care and attention to individual skin health needs.
