A Bay Area native, Dr. Chen graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Berkeley with a dual degree in Molecular and Cell Biology and Economics. She earned her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College, graduating with Honors in Research for her work on indoor tanning and dermatology-related social media studies conducted at Stanford University.

In her free time, she enjoys baking, traveling and exploring new restaurants.
