Sara received a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Science from Binghamton University, as well as a Master of Biomedical Science from Rowan University Graduate School of Biomedical Science. She then went on to complete her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from University of the Sciences. During her training, she completed rotations in numerous specialties, including reconstructive plastics and general surgery, where she found her love of aesthetics and surgical procedures. Sara has completed Schweiger Dermatology Group’s Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship program. The program combined rigorous academic and clinical training by top dermatologists in the NY/NJ area, which allowed her to gain firsthand experience in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology.

Sara’s decision to join the world of dermatology was sparked by her own diagnosis of skin cancer. Prior to working in dermatology, she worked as a Physician Assistant in the emergency department of a level I trauma center. Sara was also an assistant professor at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where she taught and precepted Physician Assistant and medical students. She now volunteers her time teaching at the Rutgers University Physician Assistant Program. Sara is extremely passionate about educating her patients and helping them further understand their dermatological conditions.

Sara is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA).
