Dr. Medepalli received her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, where she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She completed her dermatology residency at the University of Central Florida in Tallahassee, where she served as chief resident.

She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and American Society of Dermatologic Surgery.
