He completed his internship at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., and his dermatology residency at the Naval Hospital in San Diego, Calif. Before moving to Florida, he was chief of dermatology at the Naval Hospital, Camp Lejeune, NC.

He has been selected as one of “America’s Top Dermatologists” by the Consumer’s Research Council of America. He has also been consistently recognized by Castle Connolly Top Doctors® each year since 2000.
