Patient Instructions for SLIT Drops
Overview
Sublingual Immunotherapy (SLIT) is a form of allergy treatment that involves placing drops of allergen extract under your tongue daily. SLIT helps your immune system build tolerance to allergens over time, reducing symptoms and potentially eliminating the need for allergy medications. Daily, consistent use is essential for the treatment to be effective.
