About Brianna Perry, PA-C
Brianna Perry is a Certified Physician Assistant at Schweiger Dermatology Group.
She specializes in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology and is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered and innovative dermatological care to all her patients.
Brianna received her BS in Medical Microbiology with a minor in psychology from the University of New Hampshire. Following her undergraduate degree, she completed two years of graduate school at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences where she obtained her MPAS degree, summa cum laude. Following graduation, she accepted a job in emergency medicine but felt she had not found her niche yet. She spent her free time shadowing in dermatology and decided to make a switch.
With Brianna’s background in emergency medicine, she wanted to have a more tangible and immediate effect on her patients’ emotional and physical well-being. Ever since her adolescent years, she has been heavily invested in skin care. She thinks it’s fascinating how much the skin can tell medical professionals about what is happening internally, painting a picture of the whole person systemically.
Brianna went on to complete Schweiger Dermatology Group’s Advanced Practice Provider Training Program where she was able to obtain both in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience within medical, cosmetic and surgical dermatology.
She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the Connecticut Dermatology NP & PA Organization.
