Carolyn Fetchel, FNP-C

Carolyn earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Quinnipiac University and went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Purdue University. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked as a surgical registered nurse in the operating room, where she developed a strong foundation in procedural care and hands-on medicine.

She completed Schweiger Dermatology Group’s intensive Dermatology Residency program, receiving comprehensive training in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Her background in the operating room, combined with advanced dermatology training, allows Carolyn to deliver detailed, procedure-focused care while maintaining a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

Before advancing her career as a nurse practitioner, Carolyn worked as a travel nurse for six years, practicing in eight different states including California, Colorado and Washington. These diverse clinical experiences strengthened her adaptability, clinical confidence and ability to connect with patients from a wide range of backgrounds.

Carolyn is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She remains dedicated to providing thorough, compassionate dermatologic care to every patient she serves.
