Dr. Parnell has been performing facial laser resurfacing and rejuvenation procedures since 1988 and is highly experienced in advanced technologies for non-invasive aesthetic treatments. Her skill set includes laser removal of vascular and pigmented lesions, hair removal, non-ablative skin tightening, laser treatment of nail fungus and tattoo removal. She also offers Ultherapy, CoolSculpting, Emsculptâ„¢, Exilis Ultraâ„¢ and Emsellaâ„¢ as part of her commitment to comprehensive cosmetic care.

Dr. Parnell earned her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. She completed her internship and dermatology residency at the University of Wisconsin Medical School, where she later served on the faculty. She joined the University of California San Francisco Medical School as a faculty member and served for more than 30 years, most recently as assistant clinical professor. She also held medical staff positions at Marin General Hospital and Kentfield Rehabilitation Hospital.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Parnell co-founded Parnell Pharmaceuticals with her husband, Dr. Francis Parnell, an otolaryngologist. Together, they developed FDA-approved medications and wellness products, including a psoriasis treatment approved in 1987 — one of only 22 medications approved in the United States that year.

Dr. Parnell has trained physicians nationwide as part of the National Educational Faculty for Botox and is recognized for her leadership in aesthetic medicine.
