Dr. Quan earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her internal medicine internship at MedStar Georgetown University/Washington Hospital Center, followed by her dermatology residency at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, where she served as chief resident.

She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in general dermatology and dermatologic surgery and remains actively engaged in ongoing research and education.
