She is a dedicated and highly skilled physician assistant with more than 20 years of specialized experience in dermatology. Joanne’s passion for dermatology was ignited by a personal melanoma diagnosis more than 20 years ago, which has driven her to provide exceptional care and support to patients facing similar challenges.

Initially, she worked in family medicine for two years before specializing in dermatology starting in 2004. Joanne works collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat a wide range of dermatological conditions, always prioritizing patient-centered care. She is known for her compassionate approach, excellent communication skills and commitment to improving patient outcomes.

Joanne completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Augsburg College in 2002 and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, sewing and spending time with her husband and two boys, which helps her maintain a well-rounded and balanced life.
