About Jocelyn Gandelman, MD, FAAD
Dr. Gandelman is a board-certified dermatologist caring for patients at the Upper West Side location of Schweiger Dermatology.
She practices medical and cosmetic dermatology, and she cares for both adults and children in her practice. Dr. Gandelman speaks both English and Spanish. Dr. Gandelman uses her expertise to provide excellent, patient-centered dermatologic care to patients of all ages.
Dr. Gandelman is a Long Island, New York native. She graduated from Cornell University majoring in Human Biology, Health and Society. She earned her MD from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and received the American Medical Women’s Association Glasgow-Rubin Citation for Academic Achievement. She completed her Internal Medicine intern year at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, where she was chosen as the Francis J. Rigney Intern of the Year. Dr. Gandelman completed her Dermatology residency at University of California San Francisco (UCSF), where she served as Medical Education Chief at UCSF, leading curriculum development for residents and medical students in dermatology. She has published more than 15 articles in peer-reviewed journals, including JAMA Dermatology and Archives of Dermatological Research.
In her free time, Dr. Gandelman enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and puppy.
