Jodi received specialized training in both surgical dermatology and plastic surgery and has been practicing in those fields locally since 2001.

In 1999, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in health education from the University of Florida, where she also earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2001.
