John S Walczyk, MD

Dr. Walczyk graduated summa cum laude from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science in 1985. He then conducted research before earning his medical degree from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University. He completed his internal medicine internship at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY, followed by a dermatology residency at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, where he served as chief resident in the St. Luke’s Division during his final year.

He was board certified by the American Board of Dermatology in 1994 and maintains certification through recertification. Dr. Walczyk has long been active in medical education and has held academic appointments at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University, first as an instructor in clinical dermatology and currently as an associate in clinical dermatology, where he teaches dermatology residents.

Throughout his career, he has been affiliated with Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, North Shore University Hospital Plainview and previously with Winthrop University Hospital. He established his own practice, Manhasset Dermatology, in 2001.
