Dr. Karen Harkaway is a board-certified dermatologist at Schweiger Dermatology Group.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors from Duke University, where she was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Dr. Harkaway completed her medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania and was elected to the medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Harkaway remained at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for her internship and residency training in dermatology. Since then, she has been in private practice and serves as Chief of Dermatology at Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington.

Dr. Harkaway has an extensive background in cosmetic dermatology and dermatologic surgery. She is board-certified in dermatology and is a fellow of both the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Harkaway is a speaker-trainer for Allergan Biomedical (the producer of Botox® Cosmetic and Juvéderm®) and SmartGraft. Also, Dr. Harkaway is on the Clinical Advisory Council of ThermiAesthetics, and has personally helped to develop the extremely successful ThermiTight procedure. She teaches physicians across the country in laser and injection techniques.
