She specializes in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology, treating a wide range of skin, hair and nail conditions. Melissa has clinical expertise in acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, sun damage, hair loss and skin cancer detection. She also performs a variety of cosmetic procedures including chemical peels, microdermabrasion, microneedling, laser treatments, Botox, fillers and PRP injections.

Melissa earned her Bachelor of Science in psychobiology from UCLA and completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Marshall B. Ketchum University in Orange County, Calif.

Prior to joining Schweiger Dermatology Group, she worked in private dermatology practices in Manhattan Beach and Beverly Hills.

She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, California Academy of Physician Assistants, California Dermatology Physician Assistant Society and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Melissa is currently completing a fellowship through the SDPA Diplomate Program.
