Susan Wolf, MD

Dr. Wolf earned her undergraduate degree in architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After several years of architectural practice in San Francisco, she pursued a career in medicine and earned her medical degree from Yale School of Medicine. While at Yale, she received a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Scholarship, published a first-author scientific paper, and contributed as an editor of the Yale Medical Journal. She also completed international clinical work in dermatology and pediatrics in Mumbai.

She completed her medical internship at St. Raphael Hospital in New Haven, Conn., and returned to the Bay Area to complete her dermatology residency at Stanford University School of Medicine. Since becoming board certified in 2001, Dr. Wolf has served the San Mateo community through her vibrant private practice. Her work has been recognized through honors such as America’s Top Dermatologist and Best of San Mateo – Physicians and Surgeons.

Dr. Wolf is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. She is also an active member of the San Mateo County Medical Association and the California Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery.
