About Katherine Steffens, PA-C

Katherine is committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-based care with a personalized approach. She believes in taking time to listen to her patients, educate them about their conditions and collaborate on treatment plans that support skin health and confidence.
Katherine earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where she was recognized on the Dean’s List. She went on to complete her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. Her clinical training included rotations across multiple specialties, with a strong emphasis on dermatology and skin health.
Before joining Schweiger Dermatology Group, Katherine practiced in internal medicine, where she developed a comprehensive view of patient care and a deeper understanding of how dermatologic concerns can reflect overall health. She completed Schweiger Dermatology Group’s Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship Program, a year-long academic and clinical training experience that expanded her expertise in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology.
She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
