About Aisleen Diaz, MD
Dr. Aisleen Diaz is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in cosmetic and medical dermatology.
She combines advanced clinical training, extensive research experience, and a personalized approach to help patients achieve healthy skin and natural aesthetic results.
Dr. Diaz earned her Bachelor of Biological Sciences degree with Honors in Biology and a minor in Philosophy from Florida International University. She went on to receive her medical degree from Ponce Health Sciences University School of Medicine, where she graduated at the top of her class. During medical school, she was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and received Academic Honors, Clinical Distinction, and the Wolters Kluwer Medical Education Excellence Award.
She subsequently completed her internship at the University of Miami–Holy Cross Hospital Program before going to Mount Sinai in New York City for her dermatology residency, where she was selected by her peers to serve as Chief Resident during her final year. She currently serves as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Dermatology at Mount Sinai Hospital.
Dr. Diaz specializes in cosmetic dermatology, offering laser and energy-based treatments, hyaluronic acid and biostimulatory injectables, neurotoxin injections, skin tightening procedures, and chemical peels. She is known for her patient-centered approach, taking the time to listen carefully and create individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals. In clinical practice, Dr. Diaz treats a broad range of dermatologic conditions, including acne, eczema, pigmentary disorders, and skin cancer.
Dr. Diaz has authored numerous publications in leading peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, JAMA Dermatology, the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, and the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology. She is an active member of several professional organizations dedicated to advancing dermatologic care and education.
Originally from South Florida, Dr. Diaz is fluent in English and Spanish. Outside of medicine, she enjoys exploring New York City restaurants, weightlifting, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her Maltese, Flynn.
