She specializes in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Alexa received her BS in Physician Assistant Studies from St. John’s University in Queens, NY. During her education, she obtained didactic and clinical training in various medical specialties and completed elective rotations in plastics and cardiothoracic surgery. Upon graduation, she became an orthopedic surgery physician assistant at the Joint Replacement Center at Montefiore-Einstein in the Bronx, where she practiced for six years.

She specializes in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Alexa received her BS in Physician Assistant Studies from St. John’s University in Queens, NY. During her education, she obtained didactic and clinical training in various medical specialties and completed elective rotations in plastics and cardiothoracic surgery. Upon graduation, she became an orthopedic surgery physician assistant at the Joint Replacement Center at Montefiore-Einstein in the Bronx, where she practiced for six years.

After taking hands-on educational certifications in neurotoxin, filler and advanced injection techniques during her free time, Alexa decided to pursue her passion for cosmetic medicine and switched her specialty to dermatology.

She completed the Schweiger Dermatology Group’s Advanced Practice Provider Training Program consisting of rigorous academic and clinical training by top dermatologists. Enhancing her clinical acumen within dermatology, she emphasized particular focus on cosmetics and skin of color specialties.

Alexa is currently accepting new patients at the Garden City, NY, office on Long Island.
