About Alexis Tracy, MD
Dr. Alexis Tracy is a dermatologist at Schweiger Dermatology Group.
Dr. Tracy provides compassionate, evidence-based care for patients of all ages with a special focus on pediatric dermatology. She is known for her personalized and supportive approach, building trust with patients and families while incorporating the latest advancements in dermatologic care. Raised in a military family, she brings values of resilience and adaptability into her clinical practice. She is committed to serving diverse populations and delivering thoughtful, individualized treatment.
She graduated magna cum laude from Baylor University and earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed an internal medicine internship at the University of California, San Diego, followed by a combined clinical research fellowship in pediatric dermatology and allergy at UCSD Rady Children’s Hospital where she contributed to multiple clinical trials and peer-reviewed publications.
Dr. Tracy completed her dermatology residency at New York Medical College, where she served as chief resident. She then completed a pediatric dermatology fellowship at Duke University, enhancing her expertise in treating complex skin conditions in children.
