Amalia received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from New York University. After three years of patient care, she obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Miami. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

After starting her career as a nurse practitioner at a primary care office, Amalia completed an eight-month cosmetics internship with Dr. Bertha Baum. To enhance her passion for both cosmetic and medical dermatology, she then joined Schweiger Dermatology Group’s Advanced Practice Provider Training Program.

Amalia is natively fluent in both English and Spanish.
