About Amanda Frassato, FNP
Amanda is a certified family nurse practitioner at Schweiger Dermatology Group.
She takes a personalized approach to dermatologic and aesthetic concerns, helping patients feel confident and cared for at every stage of their treatment.
Amanda earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Rend Lake College, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She then completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice as a family nurse practitioner at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where she chose to complete a specialty clinical rotation in dermatology to deepen her training in both medical and cosmetic skin care.
Her interest in dermatology stems from personal experience with skin cancer and a strong family history of the condition. Amanda also has a passion for aesthetics and has received advanced training in neuromodulators, dermal fillers and laser procedures. Her background includes experience in medical-surgical nursing, emergency care, urgent care and aesthetic nursing.
She completed Schweiger Dermatology Group’s Advanced Practice Provider Training Program, an intensive clinical and academic training program that provides hands-on experience in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology under the supervision of experienced dermatology professionals.
Amanda is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and licensed as an advanced practice registered nurse in the state of Illinois. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and American Nurses Association.
