About Andreas Boker, MD
Dr. Andreas Boker is a double board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon with advanced fellowship training in surgical, procedural, and cosmetic dermatology.
He is certified by the American Board of Dermatology in both general dermatology and the subspecialty of Mohs micrographic surgery and procedural dermatology.
With more than 20 years of experience in dermatology, cutaneous oncology and clinical research, Dr. Boker has dedicated his career to combining cutting-edge science with personalized patient care. After earning his medical degree with Magna Cum Laude honors, he completed a surgery internship at Tufts/New England Medical Center followed by a dermatology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident.
He went on to complete fellowship training in Procedural Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), one of the nation’s premier training programs in dermatologic surgery. He also completed an advanced research fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School, where he conducted clinical outcomes research evaluating novel biologic therapies for psoriasis.
Throughout his career, Dr. Boker has participated in numerous clinical trials, including pivotal studies that contributed to the FDA approval of several landmark cosmetic treatments, including Botox Cosmetic, Restylane, and Sculptra. He has authored numerous scientific publications and textbook chapters on cosmetic dermatology, lasers, dermal fillers, chemical peels, and botulinum toxins. His contributions to the field have been recognized with national research awards from both the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the Women’s Dermatologic Society, and he has been consistently recognized as a “Top Doctor” in the New York metropolitan area for more than a decade. He is known for combining meticulous surgical technique with a personalized, patient-centered approach to care.
Born and raised in Mexico City to Swiss parents, Dr. Boker is fluent in English, Spanish, French, and German. Outside of medicine, he enjoys opera, photography, contemporary art, reading, cooking, gardening, swimming, cycling, and travel.
