About Angela Bretton, MSN, FNP-BC, PHN
Angela Bretton, MSN, FNP-BC, PHN, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in allergy, asthma, and immunology.
With more than 20 years of healthcare experience, including the past seven years dedicated to allergy and immunology, she provides compassionate, evidence-based care for patients of all ages. She is committed to partnering with patients through education, shared decision-making, and personalized treatment plans that improve health and quality of life.
Angela earned her Master of Science in Nursing from California State University San Marcos and also holds a degree in Public Health. She is an inductee of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing in recognition of her academic excellence and leadership.
In clinical practice, Angela evaluates and treats a wide range of allergic and immunologic conditions, including environmental and food allergies, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), chronic sinus disease, recurrent infections, immune deficiencies, and chronic urticaria (hives). She is dedicated to delivering individualized, evidence-based care that helps patients achieve long-term symptom control and improved well-being.
Angela is an active member of the San Diego Allergy Society and the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (ACAAI). She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree to further expand her clinical expertise and leadership in patient care.
A North County San Diego resident, Angela enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending San Diego Padres games, and traveling.
