About Ashley Baksh, PA-C
Ashley is a certified physician assistant at Schweiger Dermatology Group.
She specializes in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology with a strong emphasis on patient education and personalized skin care. Ashley is passionate about helping her patients thrive and takes a comprehensive approach to their dermatologic health. She is experienced in treating a wide range of conditions including eczema, psoriasis, acne, hair loss and skin cancer, as well as performing both medical and cosmetic procedures.
Ashley earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Georgia Institute of Technology, graduating summa cum laude. While at Georgia Tech, she conducted academic research in cystic fibrosis and was awarded multiple scholarships for her work. She went on to receive her Master of Medical Science from Mercer University, graduating at the top of her class.
Her clinical training included surgical techniques and management of common and complex dermatologic conditions. She continues to stay current in dermatology through continuing medical education conferences and seminars. Ashley is a fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and is enrolled in the SDPA Diplomate Fellowship Program. She is skilled in procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, incision and drainage, microneedling, laser treatments, Botox and PRP injections.
Before joining Schweiger Dermatology Group, Ashley worked in internal medicine and dermatology in San Diego, where she cared for patients in both clinic and nursing home settings, including underserved populations. These experiences broadened her medical knowledge and deepened her commitment to holistic patient care.
