About Christopher Chung, MD
Dr. Christopher Chung is a board-certified dermatologist with expertise in medical dermatology and a strong background in clinical research.
He is committed to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care and helping patients manage a wide range of skin conditions.
Dr. Chung completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan before earning his medical degree from the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. He went on to complete his dermatology residency at Henry Ford Health, where he received advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of complex dermatologic diseases.
Prior to residency, Dr. Chung served as a research fellow at Northwestern Medicine, where he focused on cutaneous lymphomas, including mycosis fungoides. His research contributed to a deeper understanding of skin cancer and inflammatory skin diseases and has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals.
In clinical practice, Dr. Chung treats a broad spectrum of dermatologic conditions and is dedicated to delivering personalized, patient-centered care. He combines the latest evidence-based treatments with a thoughtful approach to ensure the best possible outcomes for his patients.
Dr. Chung has authored publications in prominent medical journals, including The American Journal of Dermatopathology, JAMA Dermatology, and the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.
