Dr. Friedman earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in Cellular and Molecular Biology and received his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine. He completed his internship at the VA Long Beach Medical Center, his dermatology residency at Wayne State University in Michigan and a fellowship in dermatology research at Vanderbilt University.
