About Dean Goodless, MD, FAAD
Dr. Goodless is a board-certified dermatologist at Schweiger Dermatology Group.
He has been a practicing physician for over 30 years and has served the greater Orlando community in dermatology since 1997. Dr. Goodless is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and is subspecialty certified in micrographic dermatologic surgery by the American Board of Dermatology. He is widely recognized for his expertise in medical dermatology and Mohs surgery.
Throughout his career, Dr. Goodless has managed thousands of cases of acne, psoriasis, eczema, skin cancer and other common and complex skin conditions. He has authored two books for patients—one on acne and one on psoriasis—and has served as principal or sub-investigator in over a dozen FDA clinical drug trials, many of which helped bring widely used dermatologic treatments to market.
Dr. Goodless earned his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. He completed an internal medicine internship at the University of Florida, followed by a second year of internal medicine training at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach. He then returned to the University of Miami for a three-year dermatology residency, serving as chief resident and receiving first place for his senior-year research project.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Goodless is a founding member of Dermasensa, a physician-led cosmeceutical skincare brand.
