She completed her dermatology residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center and later pursued subspecialty training in dermatopathology at the University of Michigan. Following her residency, she served as faculty in the Department of Dermatology at UC Irvine.

Fluent in Spanish and Vietnamese, Dr. Gutmark is committed to providing inclusive, high-quality care to a diverse patient population. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys cooking, hiking and traveling with her husband.
