Hamza D. Bhatti, DO, FAAD, FACMS is a double board-certified, fellowship trained Mohs Micrographic surgeon and dermatologist who also is fellowship trained in cosmetic dermatologic surgery.

His areas of special interest are skin cancer, Mohs Micrographic surgery, facial reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, laser surgery, procedural dermatology and cosmetic dermatology.

Dr. Bhatti is a native New Yorker who was born and raised in Long Island. He received his Bachelor of Science with honors at Stony Brook University and his medical degree at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York City, where he graduated among the top of his medical school class and being nominated into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.

Dr. Bhatti is a native New Yorker who was born and raised in Long Island. He received his Bachelor of Science with honors at Stony Brook University and his medical degree at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York City, where he graduated among the top of his medical school class and being nominated into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.

He completed his internship along with a family medicine residency at Nassau University Medical Center in Long Island. Prior to his residency in dermatology, Dr. Bhatti joined the department of dermatology at Rutgers University to complete a Reflectance Confocal Microscopy Fellowship. He subsequently completed his dermatology residency at Rutgers University, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey where he served as the sole chief resident in his last year. Dr. Bhatti’s dedication to his patients and profession prompted him to complete a dually accredited fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology through the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education and also the American College of Mohs Surgery at The Skin Institute of South Florida and in Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery through the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery at Hollywood Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery Specialists in South Florida. There, he received extensive training and expertise in advanced skin cancer surgery and reconstruction as well as cosmetic procedures including injectables, body contouring, and laser surgery under the instruction of Dr. Eli Saleeby and Dr. Eduardo Weiss.Dr. Bhatti is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), and an active member of the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS). He has published widely on topics in dermatologic surgery, cosmetics, and general dermatology in several peer-reviewed journals. He is also an active member of the community. He takes part in numerous community events to raise awareness about skin cancer and provides guidance on prevention and treatment. He is also actively involved in the education of other health professionals.

Dr. Bhatti provides Mohs Surgery, procedural dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and surgical care in several Schweiger Dermatology Group locations in NY and NJ.
