She specializes in general, medical and surgical dermatology, and is committed to helping patients manage their skin conditions with compassion and personalized care. She has more than a decade of clinical and military medicine experience and is also active in academic dermatology.

Dr. Kwan received her medical degree from New York University and completed a transitional internship in San Diego. She served for 11 years in the United States Navy, including time as a general medical officer aboard an amphibious warship.

After completing her dermatology residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego, she was stationed in Pearl Harbor, where she served as the active duty staff dermatologist for four years.

She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and has authored more than a dozen peer-reviewed publications in the fields of dermatology, orthopedics, physical medicine and trauma surgery.

Originally from Southern California, Dr. Kwan is proud to be serving patients in the South Bay.
