About Kaycie Burke, PA-C
Kaycie is a certified physician assistant at Schweiger Dermatology Group.
She provides medical and surgical dermatologic care and is currently expanding her expertise through Schweiger Dermatology Group’s Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship program. Her clinical approach is rooted in evidence-based medicine, patient education and a commitment to high-quality, individualized care.
Kaycie earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Florida State University and her Master of Public Health from Tufts University. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Stony Brook University, where her training included comprehensive didactic and clinical education across various medical specialties. During her training, she completed a dermatology rotation with Schweiger Dermatology Group on Long Island, NY.
Kaycie began her medical career in obstetrics, developing strong clinical and surgical skills before transitioning to dermatology to pursue her long-standing interest in skin health and patient care. Through SDG’s fellowship program, she is receiving in-depth training in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology under the guidance of experienced dermatologists.
She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates and the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates.
